19 Days Counting Down

8:30am. 37 degrees. Cloudy and no wind.
Its COLD !
Dust'y  outside dog bowl has a half inch of ice !
We have 2 electric heaters going. One beneath our bed heating up the water lines and one near our feet inside our spacious trailer living room.
I know your thinking " that's not cold".
However we are living in a non insulated trailer and the weather fluctuates from the 60's to freezing periodically, within a week !

We are afflicted with tinges of creeping melancholia. The friends that we have made here most likely will disappear physically forever  in 19 days.
Dale & Sharon (from Huston,TX), Bill & Bobbi (Texas), Hal  & Julie(Denver,CO).
There are also rumors that the Coffeyville Amazon plant after 11 years is evacuating for Toyota soon after the Holiday push.
Working here has been approaching brutal, however we would like the Amazon entity to remain as a monument to where we once were.

Last night after 5 grueling 10hr days we celebrated our second visit out at the local Coffeyville Mexican restaurant with the Morgans and our new friends (10 of us).

At work we pass by each other at random far fetched locations inside the
immense warehouse. Each Amazon elf is isolated from the others by the demands of the Mother Amazon computer, and we are sent in all different directions. It is rare that we even see each other in the giant Christmas ship!
We trudge hither & yon like Beasts of burden acknowledging each other with nods or thumbs-up.
We take our breaks together and gripe and moan about the apparent illogical software that directs us to add needless (redundant)  miles towards accessing the items to be picked.

Today (Sunday) the Morgans are going back up to Wichita to visit family.
We are saving any road miles now for our exodus in 19 days.

1:38pm 37 degrees
Now back from Church and WalMart.
Another great time at the Church of Christ at Coffeyville. Lesson was on God's promises with conditions.
'For the most part if you are faithful God keeps his word, however there may be consequences for straying.'

Afterwords we were invited to  lunch at the church, the people there make us  feel  like we are home and among family...of coarse WE ARE.

Above leading the song service...Trust & Obey... ...
Clint the Preacher, very passionate, great attention grabbing & holding delivery.

He has a young wife and a daughter of 2 years old.He is from and went to bible school down in Texas.

At lunch inside the Church, Peggy is on the right, she is full of spunk and Ron here husband gave me the Coffeyville magnetic decal now on the Dodge. You can see part of him in the background with the red cool-aid pitcher.
